Uncharted Lancaster – Bausman’s Mill So proud of us today! We tackled the first scavenger hunt of Uncharted Lancaster, a 4.3 mile hike through the woods, Bausman’s Mill! So much fun, full of Ottendorf ciphers, clues and puzzles, like a real life National Treasure of Lancaster hiking finds. Learned a bunch of history, saw lots of snakes, traveled unmarked trails, saw one dead mouse, played in a culvert and saw some very cool sites! We found the treasure and have the coins to prove it! Today I went on a snowy trip to explore the Safe Harbor Trail and the old cemetery. Hard to imagine this place was once full of immigrant workers supporting the railroad over 100 years ago. I even found the @unchartedlancaster treasure.
