Third Lock: Heinley’s
The Third Lock was quite famous in its day, being the inspirational spot for the Wabank Hotel. Here too was a mill and a bridge across the Conestoga, just downstream of the dam. The Third Lock was located just downstream of where Millersville Road (Rt 741) crosses the river. It had a seven foot lift.
