History Brief: This April 1883 photo of Ellicott’s former home shows a very different Lancaster than what you see today. Perhaps the biggest change is the removal of the Lancaster Moravian Church cemetery.
The 1742 cemetery was removed in 1917 for the construction of the Lancaster Post Office. Find the nearby stone plaque commemorating the site.
