The final day of the JBT and Raiders of the Golden Osprey Treasure Hunt starts tomorrow! To ensure a fair and exciting finale, the following hint reveals the location of Saturday’s first diary challenge. So, crack the clue and be on-site by 9:30 am.
As this epic adventure comes to its thrilling conclusion, four clever teams will walk away hundreds of dollars 💰 richer. The first three teams to successfully reach the Golden Osprey’s hiding spot (based on the timestamp) win one of three money-filled treasure chests. First place drags away a nearly 30-pound coin-laden loot crate filled with $1,500 in one-dollar coins. Second hauls away a 19-pound chest with $1,000 in one-dollar coins, and third-place finishers take home an 11-pound box filled with $500. The team with the highest score and was not one of the first three teams to find the Golden Osprey walks away with the fourth-place leaderboard prize—a five-pound container filled with $250.
The cut-off for the leaderboard prize is 11:59 pm on the day the Golden Osprey is found. Keep an eye on your competition with the leaderboard and heatmap.

Note Well
Here are a few things to note for the last day of the treasure hunt. To help you identify that you are in the correct location, the final marker will be attached to a tree in plain sight. The password needed to claim your prize will be embossed on the marker.
Please only log your progress once. If you see the confirmation screen in the Google Form, you can rest assured that the results went through. While the results may take a few minutes to display on the web-based leaderboard, I can see them immediately on the server side. I will directly contact the first three teams that complete the adventure using the phone number provided in their registration.
A waterproof ammo container and some other surprises are beneath the marker in the rock outcropping surrounding the tree. The container is filled with plastic gold coins and Raiders of the Golden Osprey wooden nickel consultation prizes for everyone who completes the treasure hunt. Be sure to take a handful when you find the treasure cache at the end of the adventure.
