Answer to the September Mystery Tool Revealed!
Jennifer Royer, museum curator at Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum, notes that this is a pattern for a bottle mold. A 43″ long x 3/4″ wide leather strap was attached around the neck with a strip of leather and nails to form a carrying strap. Neck is 1 3/4″ long, followed by a ring in the pattern. A groove is engraved in the ring.
