Side Quest: The Abandoned Houses of Trolley Road

If you hike the Conestoga Trail System between the Pequea Creek Campground and town of Pequea, the path eventually takes you down Trolley Road. Littered along the trail high on the steep banks above the Pequea Creek are collapsing homes. It’s a surreal journey with a heavy post-apocalyptic Viggo Mortensen in The Road vibe.

Before You Go

Keep in mind that the trail is littered with no tresspassing signs so keep your sightseeing limited to the road.

  1. what a shame _ I remember when they were all lived in. Who owns the properties now?
