This Uncharted Lancaster adventure begins at the story’s end—Colemanville United Methodist Church. It was at this location three days after the tragic dynamite factory explosion that the remains of the eleven victims were consigned to their graves at Colemanville. There was such an outpouring of support that the church was inadequate to hold even one-tenth of the people who gathered for the services. Two funerals were held. The first was for the sole identifiable victim, Frederick Rice. The second was for the ten unidentifiable men whose remains were buried together in a mass grave.

Bausman’s Hollow Adventure: First Marker

In the church’s cemetery, find the tomb for these 11 men. This gravestone is your first marker and the key to the following Ottendorf Cipher. For future reference, take a photograph of the tombstone once you find it. To aid you in your Uncharted Lancaster adventure, find the headstone that looks like the image below and contains the inscription “our boys.” Once located, apply the following Ottendorf Cipher. The first one is solved to help get you started.
