Join me for the Friends of Fishing Creek annual meeting at the beautiful Drumore Mill, 1658 Harmony Ridge Road, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. As the keynote speaker, I will be highlighting some of Drumore Township’s rich history and sharing a few ghost stories from the area, including a recent albatwitch sighting in Fishing Creek.
This in-person program is free and open to the public. It is perfect for adults and young teenagers (as there will be a few ghost stories) who love to explore or enjoy local history. While in attendance, consider joining the Friends of Fishing Creek. They are always interested in new members to help with watershed projects.
I will have free Uncharted Lancaster stickers and magnets for those in attendance. As well as some 1821, 1875, and 1899 maps of Lancaster County for sale. I hope to see you there!

The Drumore Mill is located at 1658 Harmony Ridge Rd, Drumore, PA 17518, but participants should plan to park on the top of the hill. Just follow the parking sign to this location: 39.795000, -76.257611.
