It’s finally here—Week 1 of the Buzzard’s Booty: Quest for the Lost JBT Treasure. This epic adventure has $5,000 in cash prizes as players search for the hiding place of the lost JBT treasure containing the mysterious globus cruciger. Let the hunt begin!

You will need to complete the April 7, 2025 – Monday Missive before beginning the Week 1 set of challenges. Your team leader received this message via email on Monday around 9:15 am. Week 1A Challenge

Some nights in Eastern State, the silence was so heavy you could hear it pressing down on you. Other nights, it was filled with the mad ramblings of men who’d lost their minds in those stone walls. But for me, it was always the same thing running through my head—two bars of music that wouldn’t leave me be. Just eight notes, over and over again.

La – Ti – Mi – Do – La – Sol – Mi – Re

I couldn’t get it out of my mind. It’s like it was taunting me, daring me to figure out what it meant. I’m sure now it’s a message. A key to unlocking the way forward. Just to be sure I didn’t forget, I jotted the notes down on the back of the journal.

But here’s the catch, boy—you’re going to need that medallion you should have recovered in Ephrata to make sense of it.

Here’s what you do. With the shielded crest facing up, line the first opening of the medallion over the second note. If you do it right, three notes will show themselves clear as day.

Those notes? They unlock the way forward. Figure it out, and you’ll be one step closer to the treasure.
