Side Quest 1

As in previous years, the URL and password for Side Quest 1 are hidden within the pages tied to the treasure hunt’s launch.

I strongly recommend checking out the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County page that discusses the 2023 recovery of several Thaddeus Stevens artifacts—this page is referenced in the Abe Buzzard’s Lost Journal Resurfaces—May Contain the Key to His Missing Loot post. There’s even a bolded hint that tells you exactly where to look for the URL.

Of course, the page you uncover is password protected.

To crack it, turn your attention to the curious sketch of three water pitchers on the JBT Past and Present webpage. Try visualizing those jugs overlaid on one another—what might the markings look like when combined?

Side Quest 2

The URL and password for Side Quest 2 are hidden within Abe Buzzard’s memoir.

First, try decoding the long string of Wingdings symbols near the bottom of one of the pages.
Second, keep an eye out for the three matching sacks of money—the digits linked to those bags might just be the key you’re looking for.
