Description

Iโ€™m excited to invite you to a special book signing event on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Lititz Historical Foundation!

Iโ€™ll be signing copies of both my childrenโ€™s book, Canassatego and His Six Arrows, and my full-length book, Uncharted Lancasterโ€™s Ghosts, Monsters, and Tales of Adventure. This is the perfect opportunity to grab a signed book for yourself or a fellow history lover.

This event is primarily for pre-order pickups, but a limited number of books will be available for purchase on-site โ€” first come, first served. And hereโ€™s the best part: a percentage of every sale will go directly to support the Lititz Historical Foundation.

If you already purchased a copy, Iโ€™d love for you to stop by and get it signed! The Lititz Historical Foundation will also be offering complimentary treats and beverages during the event. While youโ€™re visiting, be sure to explore the Lititz Museum and take a stroll through the beautiful Mary Oehme Gardens.

About the Books

Canassatego and his Six Arrows

Canassatego and his Six Arrows book cover

In Canassatego and his Six Arrows, readers meet the wise Onondaga chief whose powerful words helped shape a nation. Based on real events that took place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, this picture book recounts the Great Treaty of 1744โ€”and the unforgettable moment when Canassatego broke a single arrow, but could not break a bundle of six.

Through simple yet powerful storytelling, young readers discover how this Iroquois leader taught colonial Americans a timeless lesson: we are stronger together. His words left a lasting impression on leaders like Benjamin Franklin and helped inspire the foundational principles behind the Articles of Confederation and the U.S. Constitution.

A tribute to Canassategoโ€™s six arrows can still be seen today, clutched in the eagleโ€™s talon on the back of every one-dollar bill. ย
