Dear Friends of Adventure and Preservation,

I am looking for someone to share in an adventure!

For the past four years, I’ve held an annual real-life treasure hunt involving thousands of people that has given away thousands of dollars to a handful of clever participants while raising over $14,000 for local non-profits like the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County (HPT).

I am seeking your support and partnership in an exciting upcoming event that promises not only an epic treasure hunt but will also have an impact on our community. For the fourth year, I am partnering with HPT to host a treasure hunting fundraiser of legendary proportions, and we are seeking your help to make this event a resounding success.

By sponsoring the 2025 Buzzard’s Booty: Quest for the Lost JBT Treasure, your company will gain valuable exposure and recognition within the greater Susquehanna Valley community. We offer several sponsorship levels, each providing unique opportunities for promotion and engagement with participants. Digital Files

Please provide a digital file of your logo and ad as you wish them to appear in the treasure hunting booklet. Digital files should be emailed to Adam Zurn at adam@unchartedlancaster.com. Please ensure all files are saved as a .png or .pdf and reference Treasure Hunt in the subject line. The minimum resolution is 300 ppi. The advertisement should be in grayscale. Please provide a color copy of your logo. Reference the following chart for sizing specifications.

What is the treasure hunting booklet?

The 2025 treasure hunt will again utilize a treasure hunting booklet like the grail diary in the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. While the full 2025 treasure hunt details are still classified with “top men” currently working on it 😉, the style and format will be similar to Uncharted Lancaster’s 2024 treasure hunting adventures. Even the teams that did not win felt richer for having experienced the adventure, leaving them with a lifetime of fun memories. Many teams in the 2024 treasure hunt (over 700 people) comprised groups of close friends or (often multi-generational) families.
